Best Mother’s Day Present, Apparently

My husband had this adorable case made for my iPhone for the holidays.

During two recent doctors’ appointments, my cell phone case stole the show.

First, at the eye doctor a few weeks ago, the physician’s assistant asked me if she could show the case to her co-workers while she checked the prescription in my eyeglasses in the hall. She left me in the exam room with Noah for 20 minutes, without my eyeglasses (that makes me pretty much blind) and cell phone (that makes me pretty much bored).  When she finally returned to escort me to the doctor, she paraded Noah around, introducing him as the “boy from the phone.”

[An aside - not related to the case, but relevant to Mother's Day...After this whole circus, when the doctor began examining my eyes, Noah, who was sitting on my lap just inches from the doctor, announced "There's a poop coming."  The doctor, a mother, interestingly asked whether he was wearing a diaper. He wasn't and she excused us to the restroom. We decided to do the glaucoma test on my next visit. This is a mother's life. This week, at the dentist, the hygienist insisted on showing the case to the dentist. She even wrote down the name of the case and the website for him and insisted that he design one for his new wife with their wedding photo on it.

These two women are moms and they want this case. I’m guessing your mom/grandma/sister/aunt/best friend will like it too.  I love mine, especially watching the relief it brings when I pull out my phone to show people my kids’ pictures and just flip my phone over, instead of scrolling through a zillion lousy cell phone photos.
